So I thought this was a simple cute idea to add to a nightstand (or anywhere) and also to display your jewelry. I used this simple board but you can add more ribbons to display more items. Most of these projects I have done the last few months before starting this blog so I don't have step by step on how to make it but you can buy these anywhere. I actually have found 2 at good will in perfect condition for .99! So thats awesome!

  You can pretty much take any piece of wood for the  board, cover it with a cushion top                         and use your favorite fabric, ribbons, pins, hooks etc. to match your style! =)

Craft Corner

Every DIY girl needs one! So make it fun, colorful and in a functional place. Mine is in a corner of our play room so i can keep an eye on this curious cutie! She is almost one and practically runs everywhere.

Turned an old ottoman into a fun stylish piece for only $10! I used some paint I had from other projects, a cream color. I bought my fabric at Hobby Lobby and used a 40% off coupon you can find at retailmenot.com :-) I took the top cushion (leather) off and used my new fabric!

When going from two incomes to now one with the birth of our beautiful daughter Lily Grace, I have become more creative in the ways i decorate and spend money. It can be a little more tedious to go to garage sales oppose to just going to the mall and picking something out, but you will save tons and will be able to be more unique with the pieces in your home.
